A Journey on Dong'ao Island: A Team Adventure of Mountains and Seas

    When the morning breeze still carried a hint of coolness, we were already dressed in uniform white work uniforms, gathering promptly by the bus at 7:30. The sounds of ID card checks and colleagues exchanging greetings intertwined, marking the beginning of a team trip to Dong'ao Island.

    After several hours of travel, we arrived at the island around 11 a.m. First, we checked our luggage at the hotel and set off for the pier lightly. From 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., we quietly spent the time enjoying delicious meals at the pier restaurant and leisurely exploring the surroundings. The sea breeze brushed our cheeks, carrying a salty and humid fragrance. Colleagues either paused to take photos or chatted and joked, while the fatigue of the journey was gently dissipated by this pleasant atmosphere. At 2:30 p.m., we returned by hotel vehicle and officially checked in at 2:40 p.m., followed by free time. Some chose to rest in their rooms to recharge, while others picked up cameras and wandered through the streets and shores of the island, capturing the afternoon beauty of Dong'ao Island with their lenses. The white of their work uniforms reflected against the blue sky and ocean, forming a unique scenic line on the island.
 
    After 6 p.m., the sumptuous buffet dinner arrived as scheduled, with an array of dishes satisfying everyone's taste buds. Following dinner, there were no fixed arrangements but plenty of surprises in store. Some gathered to soak in the hot springs, relaxing in the warm waters; others continued exploring the beautiful scenery, capturing the island's night in photos. Colleagues with children accompanied their kids to the children's playground, where they laughed and played. Meanwhile, some sat around the bonfire, the flames reflecting smiling faces, while songs and laughter echoed beneath the night sky.
  
    The next day, the black work uniforms replaced yesterday's white ones, marking the beginning of a new journey. From 8:00 to 8:50, the hotel breakfast refreshed everyone's energy, while colleagues who arrived early had already started the day's conversations. At exactly 9:00, we gathered in the hotel lobby and set off toward the starting point of the coastal hike. The team-building hike from 9:00 to 11:30 was both a dialogue with nature and a testament to team cohesion. Equipped with drinking water and sunscreen, we followed the coastline, with soft sand or rugged rocks beneath our feet and the vast sea beside us. When tired, we encouraged each other, occasionally stopping to admire the sea views, as the distance between us gradually narrowed through walking side by side.
 
    At 11:30, the hiking trip concluded as everyone returned to the hotel. After packing and storing their luggage, from 12:00 to 13:30, they engaged in an exciting card game, fully immersing themselves in the activity and unleashing their energy. The team's synergy grew stronger through repeated collaboration. At 14:00, the team-building card game session ended. Everyone organized their belongings in order and headed to the pier to enjoy lunch. After lunch at 15:50, they gathered in the hotel lobby to collect their luggage and boarded the vehicle for the journey to the pier. At 16:00, the boat slowly departed Dong'ao Island, heading toward Hengqin Pier.
 
   The two-day trip to Dong'ao Island brought us the healing embrace of mountains and seas, the comfort of delicious cuisine, and the warmth of traveling with a team. Those moments of shared laughter and collective effort will become cherished memories, transforming into the strength that propels us forward side by side in the future.
